Powerscourt Estate Facebook Page Likes grew from 1998 to 4069 Likes in 2 months.

Description:
Powerscourt Estate is one the best known heritage sites in Ireland and is renowned for it’s magnificent waterfall and gardens.

Objective:
Powerscourt Estate already had a Facebook Page but they wanted to grow their audience to circa 3,000 Likes through running a promotion. Through discussions with Exist, we advised on the prize and spread of winners across a 2 month period with weekly winners to encourage ongoing and repeat engagement with fans and a larger grand prize to be initially more enticing to users.

Functionality:

  • – Capture user data such as name and email address for future marketing activities.
  • – Utilise a Fan Gating Tab to encourage users to Like the Facebook Page.
  • – The App needed to include a dynamic element to increase the appeal of the App visually. To that, Exist incorporated a slider with images from Powerscourt Gardens.
  • – Include a multiple choice question as part of the competition.
  • – Create an access portal to the entry database for Powerscourt Staff to choose the weekly winners and essentially the overall winner.
